1977 Canada Voyager Dollar Coin Pendant And 24" Italian Sterling Silver Chain 34mm

At 34mm in diameter this beauty

isn't quite as big as a 38.1mm silver dollar but it's almost as big.

This coin pendant is also larger than a 30mm half dollar by a couple of millimeters.

And it is  well larger than a 25mm 25c quarter.

The Voyageu Canoe coin is neat.

This design first camera in Canadian coinage nearly 100 years ago.

Pretty sure 1938 was the first year of this design. 

I had never realized how neat and large the Voyager canoes were the kind that they explored Canada with.

We had taken a family trip to Northern Minnesota a few years back and had a chance to see one in a museum and we were very surprised to see what they were 12 to 15 ft long.

You really start to realize how powerful of a machine the Voyager canoe is and was.

This traditional method of transport operated through Canadian waterways North America waterways for the last millennia or longer.

The canoe was a way of life for native North America.

It is tribute to our ancestral people that are one with this land.
