FINE ANTIQUE CHINESE EXPORT SILVER FOOTED BOWL SIGNED "WA"
This listing is for a fine antique circa 19th century Chinese export silver bowl beautifully decorated with a chrysanthemum motif upper border and four panels with various floral (iris, prunus) and bird, crane scenes. The bowl is hallmarked: "WA" and the Chinese characters "廣新" on base. According to what I could find online, "WA" is an unidentified Canton silver shop active c. 1825–1875. Please see photos below for more details. The wooden stand is NOT included.
Measurements:
The bowl measures approximately 10.8 cm high, 20.7 cm across the top and weighs 618 grams.
Condition:
It is in very good antique condition with normal wear commensurate with it's age. Please examine the photos for condition prior to purchase as these are an important part of the description and condition report.
