There is NO internal electronics / immobiliser chip / battery with this item.

This key shell housing is compatible with both ID46 and ID48 glass immobiliser chips.

You will need to need to transfer the immobiliser chip from your old/existing key to this key shell.

The key blade in this key shell is REMOVABLE (please see picture 3 above).
