Offered are these two small antique books from the Little Leather Library "Redcroft" Edition, both by Rudyard Kipling: "The Phantom Rickshaw and My Own True Ghost Story" and "The Vampire and Other Verses" (see photo #8 for contents). Although neither shows a publishing date, this series of books was produced from approx. 1916 to 1923. Both have green embossed flexible and presumably leather covers.

Each book is approx. 4" x 3". "Rickshaw" contains 94 pages while "Vampire" contains 95. Both are in good condition. Neither cover has any tears, although the front and back covers of both have a slight curve along the long open edge and some degree of yellow; not sure if this is due to aging or was originally there. "Vampire" has a few small light spots. The books themselves are also slightly curved. I see no missing pages and all are well-attached to the covers. "Rickshaw" has some small edge tears and missing bits on the last two pages of text and final blank page but otherwise I see no holes or damage to any other pages of either volume. The first and last pages have browned heavily but the rest of the pages have only slight browning and are generally clean and clear. I see no writing in either of the books.

I have a lot of experience with vintage and antique books but am not an expert so please let me know if my description is missing information and you have additional questions. I will do my best to answer them!
