A light (electric) garland is a decorative decoration, traditionally consisting of a chain of incandescent lamps or LEDs connected in series by a bundle of electrical wires. The name of the decoration is borrowed from the floral pattern, which is a classic architectural and sculptural decorative element of the ornamental series.

Light garlands are most actively used during the New Year and Christmas holidays — to decorate Christmas trees, interiors and exteriors, as well as urban space. This type of garlands is used both as an independent decoration and as the main part for light figures of varying complexity.
