The 1st separate Feodosia battalion of marines is a military unit of the marines of the Naval Forces of Ukraine. It is located in the city of Mykolaiv, on the Alyaud Peninsula. It is part of the 36th separate marine brigade.
The battalion has a nickname - Salty Dogs, received during military exercises in the USA.
In October 2022, the battalion took part in battles in the Bakhmut direction.
Motto: "My honor is my loyalty!"

There is a hard Velcro on the back of patches (chevrons).
This will help to fix the chevron on a military uniform, other clothes, a backpack, a baseball cap and other tactical products, where there is a place for such an accessory (soft Velcro). Thanks to it, if necessary, the patch (chevron) can be easily removed and moved to a new place.
