These sweet plaques came from an estate.  Quintessential MCM, I think I remember these in my church!  Adorable.  I  am pretty sure these are some form of plastic, but they really do look like wood, especially the girl plaque.   My husband was thinking some sort of wood composite? The are about 1 inch deep, although the boy is 1 inch and the girl is more like 3/4 of an inch.  Clearly a pair, though there is this slight difference.
