For sale is a nice Chinese copper and brass cigarette box.  It is about 6 inches long by 3 1/2 inches wide and about 1 5/8 inches tall.  The top and sides are copper, but it has a brass foot.  The hinged lid has an embossed dragon in clouds with a bat border.  The sides have birds and flowering branch decoration.  The interior is lined with light reddish brown wood.  It is marked “MADE IN CHINA” on the base. 

Condition on the piece is fairly good.  The lid is slightly askew.  The interior wood has some cracks and minor water stains. It has a nice even patina, with just a few spots.  A nice piece of old Chinese metalwork.
