This is a highly collectable set of limited edition vintage Scottish paperweights. They are a set of four - all the same edition number of the base: 267 and they come complete with their original issue certificate. The edition certificate has been signed in blue ink by Colin Terris (as photographed)

The set is entitled THE SEASONS. It features lampwork depictions of flowers and foliage associated with each season. They have a decorative millefiori ring around the rim - and each has a little WM cane embedded in the weight.

They were designed by the Scottish glass maestros, Colin Terris (1937 - 2006) and William Manson. They date to 1976.

Each weight is fully signed, titled, and numbered to the base, as photographed.

The original limited edition was 500 sets but this (as was the Caithness habit) was closed at 473.  They are defined as very large/magnum size.

Each weight measures 3 inches in height and with a diameter of 3 1/4 inches. Each weight is 700 grams in weight.

This set has been stored since original purchase and all the individual elements are in pristine condition with no damage.

They are some of the most lovely paperweights - and very collectable. These are for a more specialist collector of Scottish limited edition weights.

We are selling these at a price of only £495 - this is a very fair price for this set - as specialist dealers often have higher price tickets attached to them and often the box or framed certificate is missing.

Due to the weight of these (3.6 kilos unpacked), we need to quote on postage outside the UK.  Postage within the UK will be fixed at cost of £12.00 (tracked)
