Offered is this antique porcelain bowl with ten large edge scallops. The bowl has a white iridescent finish with a small dark purple iridescent area between each scallop. The center has a large painted area of pink and green flowers and leaves, signed by the artist. I am not sure of the name-maybe "G. Gorde"? (See photo #4.) The bottom has the mark of Johann Seltmann of Bavaria, in use from about 1911 through 1932.

The bowl is approx. 11" in diameter and is about 3" high at the highest point of the rim. The top surface is in very good to excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. There are some light marks from handling and one dark purple spot in the white outside the purple areas. There is a chip on the underside of one of the scallops (see last photo) but this is not noticeable unless the bowl is turned over.
