This is an absolutely awesome handmade kimono waist style jacket. It is not a long length like a regular kimono, also we have not made up of a thin flowing fabric, this is made of of a quilted style fabric. It is very boxy and has lots of room in it. If you look at the length of it you'll see from the base of the collar to the bottom hemline it's like 29 in which is right around the waist for a woman. I would say that it fits a size large- XL the best. I would say that a belt could be paired with it if the owner prefers to wear it closed, I would just use some sort of fabric belt and tie it, I would say similar to a martial arts belt. Please look at all of the photos, I did it close up of a lot of photos where you can see where there's any I'm just coloration or spots. This piece is from late 60s to early '70s, so it's bound to have a few spots here and there. Do not hesitate to ask questions, I'll do my best to answer. Thanks so much.
