Hand crafted yarn bowl turned from a 100 year old Apple tree.  Salvaged from an orchard tree that was killed in a wildfire (from 2020).  It's 6.5 inches in diameter, and 3.75 inches tall.  Has a nice weight to it, 13 ounces.

I hand cut the spiral with a coping saw and hand sanded it.  Took me quite a while but it came out really great!  The wood has beautiful colors and a nice light curly figure with some little birdseyes.  I'm very happy with how it came out!

Finished with 2 coats of satin polyurethane for added protection and a nice soft shine.

You can put a good sized yarn ball in this, up to about 5 1 /2" diameter.  Shown with 3.5 and 4 inch diameter yarn balls.

Made at our family shop, Dovecote Woodworking in Estacada Oregon.

Happy to combine shipping if purchasing multiple items and possible.
