Sparta was a city-state in ancient Greece. The city officially called Lacedaemon, while Sparta referred to as the settlement on the banks of the Eurotas River in Laconia. In 650 BC, it becomes military land power in ancient Greece, and only a few Spartans were impactful on the thousands of the army. Sparta take parts as the leading force of the Greek Military against the naval power of Athens. The Spartan Army lives at the centre of the Spartan state, and they trained their citizens in the honour of the warrior society. The Spartan becomes the most feared and dangerous forces in the Greek World.
Leonidas, I was the warrior king of Sparta, he takes part in the second Persian war as a notable and led the Greek army to the last stand in the battle of Thermopylae. So after that, he becomes the leader of the 300 Spartans. After seeing the ancient Greek history, a movie name as 300 was on Spartans. It was the action film that tells about the Battle of Thermopylae within the Persian Wars. The movie revolves around King Leonidas who lead the 300 Spartans army against the Persian King Xerxes who has more than 300,000 soldiers.
