The rod is the full length inside the housing for durability. No shortcuts. We replicated the same color and texture of a Sharpie tip filament just without the ink. You can see the details in the second photo of the tip.

It’s made from G-10 a high-pressure fiberglass laminate, a type of composite material. It is created by stacking multiple layers of glass cloth, soaked in epoxy resin, and by compressing the resulting material under heat until the epoxy cures.

Light weight and manageable. Non-Metallic. We didn’t invent the wheel but we do try to make it just a little bit more cooler. We also have other finishes in silver, copper, carbon fiber and stainless steel. Visit our store.
