This circa 200 year old religious altar or shrine scene is built in a very early hand blown bottle with pronounced pontil. The wooden pieces are carved and covered in a decorative paper and gold leaf or foil materials. On the floor of the altar there are several pots and vases with a variety of colorful potted plants.

There is a raised altar in the background covered in a gold material. There are two candle holders on the altar and a large mural-like painting of possibly St. Anthony and the Divine child. On each side of the altar are large posts with red lanterns on top of each. On each corner of the floor are tall carved decorative posts with gold covered arches connecting the posts. There are white tassels on top of each post.

The bottle measures 10" x 4 1/4" and is in wonderful condition. It is sealed with a long decoratively carved wooden stopper with a white tassel on the end inside the bottle. A rounded wooden top is outside the bottle.

Opportunities to own a bottle this old and of this quality and rarity don't come along often. Now is your chance to purchase a showcase bottle for your collection!
