   On April 26, 1986, the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, the first-born of the nuclear power industry in Ukraine, became a symbol of the largest man-made disaster in human history. At the fourth power unit of the station, a powerful explosion occurred, equivalent to 500 Hiroshima bombs. This event radically changed the lives of millions of people.
