You won't find many lamps like this one.  It pivots around on the small post, getting its movement from the heat generated from the bulb and the vents in the shade.  Way cool.  The switch and cord are in great shape and the lettering on the shade is pretty good too, faded a bit in a couple small spots.  The overall height is 9 1/2" and the base has a  6 1/2".  The shade itself is 7" high and 6" in diameter.
