Up for bid is a fine early Scandinavian bright cut silver
tablespoon, marked [HW?]. The piece is 8
1/2 inches long and weighs 45 grams. It
has a large swaged bowl drop and a downturned pointed handle with wide
bright-cut and wriggle-work engraving. It
has not been monogrammed. It is marked
twice with a [HW?] in a rectangle.
Condition on the spoon is fairly good. There are some stubborn spots and normal wear
from use. The mark are worn. A nice piece of old Scandinavian silver.
