Solid state rectifier for single phase two wire alternator equipped machines. Will work with 6 or 12 volt systems, positive or negative earth.
Beware of unmarked units on sale or claims that higher amperage units are better etc. This type is the recognised type that works well with old British bikes.
It will carry 35 amps, which,as you know is about 3 times as much as your alternator can produce.  The correct item is a KBPC 3504.Some 5 pence cheaper rectifiers are being advertised on ebay, however, they will not be this part number. If you do save the 5 pence and go for economy delivery and get the wrong part number, best of luck with your misfiring bike just before your Boyer open circuits.Have fun fixing it when you could be out riding.
I am a rider of Triumph and BSA motorcycles with over 40 years experience of classic bikes and i have learnt what works and what can damage a bikes electrical systems.Be warned.
BE VERY WARY OF RECTIFIERS SOLD WITH NO NUMBERING VISIBLE. THESE COULD BE THE VERY CHEAP UNITS MORE SUITABLE TO REPAIR AN OLD RADIO RATHER THAN A MOTORCYCLE. I ONLY SELL THE BEST QUALITY UNIT AVAILABLE
