The Ruptured Duck Was The 7th Of 16 Bombers Launched In The Doolittle Raid, Dropped 3 Demolition Bombs And 1 Incendiary Bomb On An Industrial Area In Tokyo, And Was Ditched In The China Sea West Of Shangchow After Running Out Of Fuel. The Entire Crew Was Wounded In The Ditching, But Due To The Heroic Actions Of Pilot Lt. Ted Lawson, The Entire Crew Survived And Were Rescued!
