The bottle rests on a custom made wooden base or plinth. The is a large detailed compass drawn and colored on the end of the base under the neck of the bottle. On the side of the base is a wooden plaque with the words: "Three Masted Jackass Bark." A rope is secured on the ends of each side of the base and extends to the front of the base to the wooden plaque where they end in a coil on each side. Under the base is a label with the words "John Roso Oct 1982." The bottle is a one half gallon and measures 10 1/2" c 4 1/2" and is sealed with a cork. The base is 12 1/2" x 3 1/2."
