This beautiful antique electric parlor lamp is a true treasure from the 1880s and it was electrified in the 1920's when electricity came to the US. It features a unique design with a frosted neoclassical patterned shade included in the sale, antiqued brass fittings and trimmings, a hand-painted glass column, and a cast iron base The lamp has an elegant classic look just right for the Victorian revivalst. This antique lamp has a knob control and a white cord color. It is a large-sized lamp with a half round shade shape. The lamp is perfect for collectors of antique lamps and lighting and would make an excellent addition to any home décor. As a general rule Victorian parlor lamps were much taller than their smaller kerosene lamp counterparts as they were used on a table in a parlor to shed light in the room.

The lamp fully assembled measures 22" tall from the table top to the top of the chimney X 6 1/2" across the font X 4 3/4" square at the cast iron base and the shade measures 5" in diameter across the fluted opening at the top X 10" across the opening at the bottom of it. It has a very long cord that will reach almost any standard outlet nearby, and this lamp is in 'super mint condition' and dates 1880's and it was electrified in the 1920's.
