Vintage ORIGINAL 1950's - 1960's Gibson M-69 PAF Ring Set w/ Screws.

Gibson M-69 Neck Pickup Ring (MR-491) is an original Gibson M-69 Neck pickup ring from the 1950's.
The pickup ring is period correct for many Gibson models with Humbuckers made in the late 1950's or 1960's.
It has the code"MR491" on the inside, so this is for the Neck pickup position.

The pickup ring is period correct for many Gibson models with Humbuckers made in the late 1950's or 1960's.

The last picture shows the guitar that the Pickup rings and screws were on.

Here is the history of the guitar that the Pickup rings were on:

I traded a '63 Fender Jaguar in 1968 for a Strat / Tele / Gibson Hybrid  that a friend of mine built from 1950's parts in Atlanta, Georgia.

It had a 1953 Telecaster body, 1958 Stratocaster neck and set up like a Gibson with 50's PAF Humbucker Pickups and pots and the Gibson Varitone Switch.
(I used this guitar in Los Angeles in Session Work because of the variety of tones)

In recent years I decided to make two guitars from this beast.
I took the '58 Strat neck and 50's PAF Humbucker Pickups (minus the Original Pickup Covers and

Rings) and built a Sunburst Strat with gold hardware.

Then from the '53 Telecaster body and all new Tele parts, I built a 3 Pickup Nashville Style

Telecaster with gold hardware.  It is SOLD.

I started collecting Gibson, Tele, and Strat parts when I was 14 years old.  (I am now 77 and it is time to let them go)  See more at juneswebs.com/GuitarParts
Most of my parts are from the early 50's to the mid 60's.  I put these parts in a box in the mid 60's where they have been for 60 years.
