All photographs are on proper good quality photographic paper
and have been dark room produced from negatives
Size in centimetres - 9x13
estimated date, based on ones from the same collection which are dated, photo taken between 1964 - 1974
most likely late sixties.
All Railway related photographs that I have up for sale at the moment are part of a collection from
the estate of J H Stephens of Stroud, who I believe was a professional photographer or a very good amateur ,
I know that he published at least one book on the Stroud area (Titled - Stroud 1890 - 1915 published 1973)
and some of the photographs have his name stamped on the back, presumably from when he was selling the images in the past.
They form a wonderful glimpse of our railway heritage, with many of the subjects long gone or "updated" beyond recognition,
from tracks to signals and sometimes even whole stations.
The photographs themselves are of high quality and offer clean and crisp images, if any have come out with any blur, then that's down to my photography skills!
