This vintage knit dress from St. John features a stunning shade of purple in St. John's signature santana knit, a blend of wool and rayon beloved for it's resiliency and resistance to wrinkles (and for its forgiveness when it comes to sizing!). The dress has classic St. John styling with a crew neck, long set-in sleeves, elastic waist, on seam pockets, and a button down skirt. The five buttons down the front of the skirt are actually functional, so you could open one or two at the bottom to make a walking vent. There are three of the same enamel buttons on each cuff, though decorative only. The lizard-embossed belt has a purple enamel buckle that matches the buttons. The dress closes with a long back zipper and has fairly large shoulder pads. Labeled US size 10. Measurements are generous, so this dress could work for size 12 also.
