Sleek, exquisite boomerang-shaped lines trimmed with bands of luscious thick glass are testaments to the legendary skills of midcentury Swedish glass artist Paul Kedelv.

A giant among his peers, Kedelv was primarily known for his " Coquille" ( scallop) series, of which this beautiful, burgundy and pink lined work is an example.

The canoe-like vase is stunning filled with flowers, and just as dramatic on its own as a sculptural form.

Commanding 18" piece is in EUC. A few minor scratches on the smoothly ground bottom of the piece are the only flaws I can find.

Stunning midcentury piece ships USPS Ground Advantage from Los Angeles.
