STITCHED LEATHER "KE-ZU" CLUB CHAIR WITH MATCHING OTTOMAN
Designed by Dakota Jackson in 1988
Item # 308HPR18P

An attractive "Ke-Zu" modernist club chair with matching ottoman by Dakota Jackson, it is a distinctive development on the Art Deco club chair with sharpened angles and points formed from the stutched calf-skin leather to create an altogether new form. The club chair is incredibly comfortable and supportive and the leather throughout has a nice overall patina with the vintage wear/blemish/discolorations that make leather ever more attractive over the years. The ottoman is raised over rolling casters that allows it almost effortless movement.

A gorgeous form and infrequent find together with its ottoman.

Measurements: [lounge chair] 34 1/8" H x 35" D x 34 1/2" W x 17 1/8" H to seat; 16" H x 23 1/2" D/W [ottoman]

Condition Report:
Scuffs, various stains/discolorations and use indicators throughout the leather on all surfaces; more notable scar in bottom corner of right hand side of chair and also a 4" scratch on the leather of the right side of the chair; back left foot of the chair has more significant wear to the leather at the extreme edge; a stray white mark on the chair back; cambric beneath the chair is original and torn/taped - we can replace this with a fresh cambric on request, but have not done so because the current cambric retains the original Dakota Jackson label. Incredibly comfortable and supportive.
