Up for bid is a Scottish Provincial fiddle pattern teaspoon,
maker TS, Elgin. The spoon is 5 3/8 inches long and weighs 16 grams. The spoon
has flared shoulders, a swaged arch drop and a fiddle handle. It is monogrammed “MG” on the handle front.
The piece is marked [TS] and [ELN] as shown.
Condition on the spoon is poor. The bowl is badly chewed, and there is heavy wear
from use. Still an authentic piece of Scottish
provincial silver.
