George Harrison (yellow with moustache) Face Pot. Produced in 2002 in a limited edition of 50 and originally purchased on a Face Pot Cruise.

"While My Guitar Gently Weeps" is a song written by George Harrison, first recorded by The Beatles in 1968 for their eponymous double album (also known as The White Album). The song features lead guitar by Eric Clapton, although he was not formally credited on the album.

Face Pot is from a large Kevin Francis collection. Face Pot presents in excellent condition. No chips, cracks or crazing observed. Displays very well, as depicted. Flaws observed on box.

Fitting snugly into the palm of your hand, Face Pots were introduced in 2000 by Kevin Pearson and the art pottery team of Kevin Francis. Drawing on 18th Century Netsuke design combined with the best of art pottery and the English toby jug tradition, they became an immediate success and introduced a whole new genre of pottery commemoratives.

Designed by top ceramic sculptors, each Face Pot is handmade and hand-painted in Stoke-on-Trent, England and made to the same high standard as traditional Kevin Francis releases. Each Pot contains a quote from (or associated with) the character portrayed. A studio pottery approach resulted in limited production numbers of each Pot.
