- Avoid contact with water as the paper will dissolve
🌸 HOW TO USE 🌸
1. Condition the clay
- For the most accurate colour and best results, it is recommended to use white or light colour clay
- Condition the clay and roll it on a suitable work surface
- Ensure that the clay sticks well onto the work surface
2. Placing the Image transfer sheet/paper
- If necessary, cut the paper to the desired size and the rest can be used later
- Place the colourful side of the transfer paper down onto the clay
- Gently roll over the transfer paper with a roller to ensure that the paper is fully attached
- Make sure that the edges are not lifted
- Make sure that there are no bubbles left under the paper
3. Dissolving the paper
- Take the work surface with the clay and let cool water flow from the tap at a low water pressure
- The paper begins to dissolve itself, gently rub the remaining paper making sure all is removed while keeping the ink on the clay.
- Do not apply too much pressure as this may distort the design
4. Cutting
- Dry the clay slab before cutting it
- When the clay slab has dried, cut and bake it as usual
- Please note that the colours may change slightly during baking
5. Finishing
- We recommend sealing the finished piece with resin, polyurethane, sculpey matte/gloss finish or matte sealant you prefer. Sealing ensure the longevity of the transferred design
