Features:
1) Upgrade the rusted old thin crossmember with this quality heavy Rear Fuel Tank Support Crossmember. Direct replacement for the crossmember located forward of the rear axle that supports the rear end of the gas tank                   

2) Manufactured from quality heavy-duty steel and mandrel bent just like the Original one. Long lasting galvanized surface to ensure rust-resistant, corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant                            

3) The left side inside mount plate, the right side upper shock mount, the fuel tank strap hanger bracket are pre-welded. (Note: Not all GMC tanks are the same size. For a crew cab you may had to cut off the strap mounting bracket and move it over about 2 in more towards to the center of reinforcement.)                         

4) 1. Remove the fuel tank, the old shock and cut away the remaining crossmember. 2. Hold this new crossmember in place and weld it solid. 3. Reinstall the fuel tank and new shocks. No need to remove the truck bed. Safe and worry-free installation
