Published on the occasion of the exhibition "Art Glass"Venice Palazzo Ducale 22 June-30 September 1991. Glassworks founded in 1946 by the glass-maker Archimede Seguso (1909-99). Seguso worked for various workshops, including the family-run enterprise Seguso Vetri d'Arte (1937-73 and 1976-92) which he left in 1942. He was a leading figure in the twentieth-century revival of Venetian glass-making traditions, re-interpreting ancient Venetian traditions such as filigrana, to produce lacework patterns which he called merletti.

Condition: Well used copy. Front cover beginning to detach from spine, shelf wear to covers. Contents a bit thumbed and pages age toned to the edges.
