This is a VERY RARE speckled cream beige buckskin bead, in a greasy finish, some call it "waxy", I have no idea where these terms come from!  Anyhow, it transmits light through the glass like jade or agate does.  See photos to understand.  The listing is for one hank, with a total of nine available.  The hanks are 5.5" long with six strands so you're getting at least 1150 beads per hank on average.  ONE HANK is shown in photo wrapped around a penny.

Beads are 1.1 mm and 35 beads per inch, with some variation because they are handmade and slightly irregular.  See pics.

NEWS FLASH: I just purchased a lifetime collection of antique micro seed beads from someone who worked at the trading post bead store that obtained the mother lode supply of Venetian 1800-1940's handmade Murano Italy glass beads. They shipped them overseas in creates, in the 1960's, when they acquired these rare treasures.

I don't have huge amounts of any of these newly acquired beads, but they are excellent colors and range from 16/0-24/0 in size. These are rare collector's items, so the weight, volume, and price isn't like buying beads at craft stores. I sell beading needles and thread that work with all of my bead sizes and types, even the tiniest ones.

Please press "Add To Cart" when selecting an item, instead of "Buy it Now", which incurs multiple shipping charges. Then return to shopping, and do this with each item you want to purchase, then go to your cart and checkout only once.  If you do end up with more than one shipping charge, I will refund you the extra shipping costs.  Cost is only $3.75 regardless of how much you purchase in the US.  Overseas is $17 plus a VERY MINIMAL amount for additional items ( a few cents or at most, a few dollars more).
