This is my condition guide:
NEW – That's what it is, new.
EXCELLENT – This book looks almost new. Very minor shelf wear. Faint creases, if any, may be present. Book may have minor corner bumps.
VERY GOOD – Exhibits minor shelf wear. Book looks as if read. Minor markings may appear. Spine creases may be present. Book may have corner bumps.
GOOD – Prominent wear. Markings may appear. Book may have heavy spine creases. Corner bumps, or corner creases may be present. Book may look as if it has been read several times. It is still a very readable copy.
FAIR – Book is well worn. Markings may appear. A spine slant may be present. There may be corner creases or missing corners due to wear.
POOR – A pretty well trashed copy that may be good for reading or perhaps kindling. You won't find many books with this grade in my listings.
Keep in mind you are purchasing a USED item unless otherwise stated. While many of the items I list are in Excellent condition, most of them show shelf wear and sometimes markings. I try to describe the items so you won't find anything unexpected.
