A vintage gilet waistcoat dating from 1960s. These items were often brought back by servicemen visiting Hong Kong in the 1950s and 1960s.
This is gold soft satin with embroidered flowers and toggle buttons and two small slip in pockets. It can be reversed and worn on the other side which is soft wavy black velvet with black velvet toggle buttons.
Size - small bust 34-36 inches - pit to pit 18 1/2 inches. Length from nape of neck to hem is 21 inches.
No damage. Can be gently had washed in cool water.
