We are not a random business man getting low quality bearings knocked up by the million. We have been selling skate bearings in our store and online since 1997 and know what makes good bearings and what doesnt..

 

 

Hybrid Ceramic Bearings. Silicon nitride (white ceramic) balls are much lighter and harder. These factors reduce running temperature and minimise wear meaning longer bearing life. The hardness of ceramic balls means they are less likely to be damaged if debris gets in. Put these superior balls in chrome steel races and you get the best of both worlds. Ceramic races and balls are available out there but can be damaged very easy when used for modern day skateboarding as on impact the races can crack and break. Hybrid ceramic bearings dont necessarily spin as fast as say our abec 11s but they skate smoother and last longer.

 

Rubber removable shields. Only one shield is present on these badboys as this reduces friction and as the balls are hard ceramic if debris got in it would just get eaten and spat out (also you can see the white balls and they look sick! . Non contact rubber shields reduce friction which obviously doesn’t slow your wheels down. The rubber shields can be removed in order to flush your bearings out ready for some new lubricant.

Bearing size: Inner diameter 8mm, Outer diameter 22mm and width 7mm. This measurement is designed for all skateboard wheels and trucks aswell as scooters and skates/quads.

 

SAE52100 Chrome Steel Races. This is the standard steel for most bearings. It is harder than stainless steel meaning it will last longer, it also has superior low noise qualities to stainless steel. Chrome steel can tolerate continuous temperatures of up to 120°C which unless your bombing a hill at over 100MPH you haven’t got to worry!

SAE52100 Chrome Steel Cages. Some hybrid ceramic bearing come with nylon cages, cages are what holds the bearing in place. We have found nylon cage hybrid bearings tend to give way due to the hardness of the ceramic balls. For this reason we had them made with chrome steel cages. After testing by afew of our skaters we found them to be much more durable. 

 

High viscosity synthetic based lubricant. Synthetic lubricant is ideal for skateboard wheels as it is designed for high speed use, low noise, water-resistance and extreme temperatures.
