A lovely mid century coffee table, this has a marble top which fits inside an elegant brass frame with flat feet and cross stretchers. The marble has a light peach colour, with bold brown veining and can be lifted from the frame for transportation. The piece is by Catt & Griffin and is illustrated in the Ideal Home Exhibition catalogue for March 1961. It is an attractive size and shape and will make a great addition to a mid century home, but will also suit a contemporary interior with light colours and brass tones.

Dating to circa 1961, this is made of marble and brass, and originates from London, England.

In good age related condition, there are some slight nibbles around the edge of the marble which can be identified by feel, but are not obtrusive. There is some slight green oxidation to the brass in places, which can be cleaned if desired, but adds some character to the piece.
