Each photo has a description under it identifying the player’s first year on the Giants roster, his position, and his total years on the roster. For example, player John Doe will have the following title under his photo “1958 Roster John Doe P 58-61”. Meaning John Doe was a Pitcher for the Giants in the years 1958 to 1961.

Photo of every player is in a Giants uniform with only a few exceptions when player appeared in only a couple games as a Giant. They are pictured in non-Giant uniforms.

A baseball card image of many players is provided IN ADDITION TO ACTUAL PHOTOS. Baseball card is NOT used instead of an actual photo.
