Statice Seeker Mix is easy-to-grow from Statice seeds, and it is very rewarding with brightly coloured, flat flower clusters of blue, white, yellow, pink and purple. Limonium Statice Seeker Mix offers quite a display of colour for the middle of the sunny flower border. The Statice flowers have a papery texture and hold their colour well for years after drying. Statice Seeker Mix may also be used in arrangements as a fresh flower, and it is often seen in professional floral arrangements. Press the Limonium seeds into the soil and lightly sprinkle with peat moss. The flower seeds must be kept moist but not wet until germination occurs. Or, you can directly sow Statice flower seeds into prepared seed beds after all danger of frost has passed. Sow the seeds in groups of 2 - 3 spaced 40 - 50 cm (16 - 20 inches) apart. Thin to the strongest plant. Once established, Statice plants are fairly drought tolerant. They thrive in a hot, sunny location |
