This vintage postcard is a great collectible! This ship was an excursion liner on the Great Lakes. It was in service between 1893 and 1933. It was the only whaleback ship that was ever built for passenger service. At first she took passengers to and from the World's Columbian Exposition and then after that she provided transportation to various ports around the lakes. This ship design has an interesting history.
There are marks from where it had been stored in an antique album.
