Reference table
Type 1 applies to: Rhodesian teak, white red bean tree, Brazil nut.
Type 2 applies to: walnut, clone, poplar, teak.
Type 3 applies to: balsa, sandalwood, elm, yunnanite, hemlock, loblolly, balsam, fir, Douglas fir, ash, willow, willow, white fir, armor wood, ash.

Automatic shutdown
To save battery power, the automatic shutdown function is activated when the device is turned on: if the device is not operated with any button within 5 minutes, it turns off automatically.
Maximum/minimum buttons
A short press switches between maximum value measurement and minimum value measurement; a long press has no function. When the maximum and minimum value measurement mode is selected, the instrument always displays the maximum value or minimum value.
HOLD data hold function
When measuring moisture content, short press this button once, the data will be recorded and the WAIT symbol will be displayed; short press this button again to finish data storage and continue normal measurement.

Refer to the wooden stairs in the manual and press the "MODE" button to select the wooden stairs 1-4 for inspection according to different types of wood.

Building materials that can be tested include (wall, cement, concrete, cement mortar, lime mortar, plaster, etc.). Insert the probe and take a measurement.

measurement operation
1. Turn on the short button.
2. Press the MODE button to switch the tree type, refer to the tree type comparison table to choose the tree type, if there is no corresponding tree type in the comparison table, you can choose the tree type 3 to get the approximate one A carry out value measurement.
3. Remove the protective cover of the test head sensor, vertically insert the test head of the device into the wood sample to be tested until the depth of the probe reaches 6mm.
4. wait for the reading to stabilize. s During the measurement process you can activate or deactivate the maximum and minimum value measurement and the measurement hold function according to the instructions of the function key.
