Beautiful vintage cocktail dress from Escada features a combination of black lace and devore (burnt) velvet. The lace covers the shoulders and gathered sleeves, and forms a flounce at the bottom of the skirt. The devore, or "burnt velvet" torso of the dress has a polka dot pattern. The velvet on both the front and back of the dress is gathered vertically all the way down, and the bottom is finished with two layers of gathered lace. Labeled Italian size 42 which s considered equivalent to a US size 6 or 8 (or Medium). This dress seems to conform to modern sizing, but please refer to the measurements for the best guidance regarding acutaly size and compare with a similar garment that fits you.MEASUREMENTS
