[Onitsuka Tiger] started in Kobe in 1949 by manufacturing and selling basketball shoes. Due to its high quality, it is a brand that is trusted and has a proven track record as a sports shoe, including being used as training shoes for the Japanese Olympic team. In recent years, we have been developing shoes that are modern versions of models that were used for competition in the past, and are attracting attention for their stylish and comfortable finish.
The upper is made of high-quality suede with a bright color and a vintage feel, combined with a supple and lightweight sole. This model is a reinterpretation of the design of the shoes worn by the Japanese team at the 1968 Mexico Games, with the iconic "MEXICO" mark on the side of the upper and a unique insole graphic inspired by an athletics track. The design is also reproduced as a fashion element from that time.
