Omega has always performed in the arenas of dress and sports watches and technological innovation. This watch exemplifies this. It showcases Omega's extraordinary dress watch heritage while posting proprietary waterproof capabilities.

The Seamaster name is the longest running line in Omega’s history. It refers to the proprietary hermetic qualities of the watches. This example of the Seamaster line is in excellent condition. This is also a very early example of Omega's foray into quartz movement manufacturing. These early movements utilized the crown to quickly set the hour hand and date and a button in the crown to set the minutes hand.

The simplicity of the design and clear lines are a strong nod to Bauhaus design from the mid-20th century.

The watch is in excellent condition. The dial, case, and handset are crisp and clean.  The piece is all original apart from the plexiglass and the newly installed German leather strap.
