NEW (removed from parted out units that were new and never put into service) icemaker thermostat. Fits many Frigidaire, Haier, GE and Electrolux + many Sears branded units. Will work on many electro-mechanical icemakers with metal mold = (where ice is formed at). This icemakers thermostat fits on electro-mechanical units (NOT module types). Terminals are 3/16" flag and i will provide 2 short leads IF requested at time of sale as shown in pic #3.
This parts' job is to initiate a harvest cycle when harvest cycle temperature is reached. Freezer temperature must be capable of attaining icemaker producing temps of (0ºF to + 12ºF).
If your freezer temperature cannot maintain (0ºF to + 12ºF) then replacing this thermostat will do you NO good. Simply freezing is not good enough!

YOU will receive ONE thermostat + dab of mastic + (2 short leads IF REQUESTED).
INSTRUCTIONS are here = place dab of mastic onto face (silver portion) of thermostat before sandwiching control housing back onto mold (where ice is formed at).
NOTICE!!!!!!!! Your freezer MUST be capable of ice production temperatures = (0ºF to + 12ºF). +14ºF will freeze ice and items in freezer but will NOT produce ice from an icemaker unit! These thermostats are for TWO rotation icemakers with metal mold (where ice is formed at) and OPEN @ 48ºF.
