Indeed, the fourth ice hockey world championship was held between January 30 and February 10, 1930 in Chamonix in France.

All winter sports are possible at Mont-Blanc as shown on the poster.

Roger Broders is one of the most prolific poster artists of the Art Deco period, just like Cassandre. He is inseparable from the PLM company which ordered more than a hundred posters from him between 1922 and 1932.
