Hello everyone and welcome!  El Hoardo here and today, I'm listing another one of those fine laptops that you just love to see!  Today, I'm selling a Toshiba Tecra 500cs laptop.  These are the higher end ones back in the day easily beating the Inspiron, Compaq, HP, Acer and other lines from back then.   The laptop is tested and in good working condition.  Here's the specs of the laptop

Windows 95 Installation

12.1 inch TFT screen at 800x600 resolution

48mb of Ram

120 Mhz Pentium Processor

1gb Hard Drive

CD-ROM Drive Working

The laptop is ready and just waiting to go!  There are some simple games along with some shareware games to get you entertained from the getgo. Not only am I tossing some shareware, but I'm also tossing in lots of freeware and vintage games so you're up and ready to go with using this as a vintage gaming pc!   The graphics drivers and audio drivers are installed and just waiting for a new owner.  The audio driver is also installed so you are ready to play some DOS games "Under Windows 98" as this uses emulation for soundblaster drivers rather than true soundblaster cards.  This also is fast enough to play a wide variety of games from the era.  Check it out!  The resolution is 800x600 and the screen is 12.1 inches tft.

One thing to keep in mind with this laptop.  I do NOT have a floppy drive on it.  The Floppy Drive is REQUIRED to reinstall the operating system.  The Bios on this only boots from a FLOPPY Drive.  It will NOT Boot from a CD-Rom Drive which prevents me from doing a brand new FRESH install of Windows 98 Second Edition.

The only flaw is the power button.  You have to press it HARD for the laptop to turn on.  This probably needs to be opened up to be fixed.  Keep that in mind before purchasing.
