This is a Department 56 "Smyth Woolen Mill," from the New England Village series (Number 6543-9). The porcelain, decorative building is lighted by a standard C7 bulb on a cord with an on/off switch and a two-sided plug (allows for adding other plugs). The building was made in 1987 on a limited edition basis and is numbered 1287 of 7500. It measures about 7 1/2 inches wide by about 6 1/2 inches deep by about 7 inches tall. The building is in excellent condition with no chips and the light works great. It comes with its original packaging; the box shows some wear from storage including water marks and writing.
