Spin the top ornament, and the four compartments rotate all the way open.  Operates smoothly, doors open and close perfectly. Some compartments have tarnish inside, but overall, great condition for the age!

Gilt doors have cameo on each one in the material.  Beautiful gold colored/gilt accents and trim.  Flowers decoration are subtle and some of the design appears to be crazing due to age.

The lipstick holders DO NOT have the compartment backing.  You'll need to create your own or purchase separately.
