we sent following advice about installation. pls check.

1#pls Check the package to confirm all the accessories is included. there are two black metal brackets and two ball-head screws and nuts.
2# Open car hood lid, Find installation location and clean it. connect the struts with bottom engine.
3# check the top hood lid to find holes to install black brackets.  fix brackets with screws.
4# put ball-head screw on the top of hood lid and install the strut.
